Granini's Blueberry Syrup


Granini's Blueberry Syrup
or as we call it...
Blueberry Gravy

Ingredients:
3 cups Blueberries (frozen or fresh.  I use frozen.)
1/4 cup sugar

Recipe:

Pour frozen blueberries into a pot.  Add in sugar.  Bring to a boil, then turn down to medium.  Stir frequently.  Wait until the sauce from the blueberries has turned a deeper purple color and has thickened completely.  This can take ten to fifteen minutes. Then pour over pancakes.  Yummmmmmm.

Start cooking them.

Bubbling nicely.  But the sauce is still thin.

The sauce has thickened beautifully.  It's done!

Pour it into a wee little pitcher.

Mmmmmmm. Blueberry gravy.
