Kitchen, After
Gutted the kitchen. Removed the lowered ceiling. Installed LED can lights (with a dimmer switch). Added cherry cabinets. Added 3 cm granite counters. Added marble backsplash with metal tiles in a custom design. Removed old window and installed a double window. Painted room. Sanded orange trim around door, sliding glass door, and window and painted them white. Added oil rubbed bronze hardware. Added crown molding. Added a new light fixture for over the kitchen table (not shown in picture). Replaced all the electrical outlets and switches from cream to white.

Sanded, stained and varnished the orange wood to a dark mahogany. Replaced the orange baseboard molding with a thicker, white molding. Added a chair rail and panel molding. Replaced the carpet. Painted the hall. Added crown molding. Replaced all the electrical outlets and switches from cream to white.

Sanded and painted window moldings white. Replaced the orange baseboard molding with a thicker, white molding. Replaced the carpet. Painted the room. Added crown molding. Replaced all the electrical outlets and switches from cream to white.

Front Hall leading to front door
Sanded and painted door moldings white. Replaced the orange baseboard molding with a thicker, white molding. Added a chair rail and panel molding. Replaced the hardwood floors. Painted the hall. Added crown molding. Sanded, stained, and varnished the front door, the door leading to the garage, and the pocket doors from orange wood to dark mahogany. Added new light fixtures. Replaced all the electrical outlets and switches from cream to white.
Back Hall leading to Laundry Room
Sanded and painted door moldings white. Replaced the orange baseboard molding with a thicker, white molding. Added a chair rail and panel molding. Replaced the hardwood floors. Painted the hall. Added crown molding. Sanded, stained, and varnished, the door leading to the laundry room, and the pocket door to the powder room from orange wood to dark mahogany. Added new light fixtures. Replaced all the electrical outlets and switches from cream to white.
Laundry Room

Painted the room. Added crown molding. Sanded, stained, and varnished, the cupboard and cabinet doors and added oil rubbed bronze hardware. Sanded, stained, and varnished the door leading to the laundry room. Replaced the laundry machines. Replaced all the electrical outlets and switches from cream to white.
